A timer with a much louder, harsher alarm, for noisy rooms and times when you cannot afford to miss it.
What makes it loud?
This timer plays nine sharp beeps in a rising pattern, using a harder tone than our standard alarm, so it cuts through background noise. It is not a siren, and it cannot go beyond your device volume.
Before you start
- Turn your volume down when you first test it. The alarm is much louder than the standard one.
- Keep your device away from your ears, and be considerate of people nearby.
- Check your phone is not on silent. On iPhone, the ringer switch can mute web audio.
When a loud timer helps
Noisy kitchens, workshops, gyms, big classrooms and shared spaces, or anywhere you are working with your hands and might not look at the screen.

Can it be louder than my phone volume?
No. A web page cannot override your volume control. Turn your device volume up for the loudest result.
Will it ring if my screen locks?
Not always. Some phones pause web audio when the screen locks, so keep the screen on for anything important.
